DÍON is a rooftop dining destination perched atop Dublin’s landmark Central Plaza Building, offering panoramic views of the city from one of its most prominent addresses. Spanning approximately 14,000 square feet across two levels, the restaurant blends contemporary hospitality with a distinctly Irish sense of place, creating an elevated experience for both locals and visitors.
The brand identity and interiors were developed in tandem, ensuring every guest touchpoint reinforces a singular narrative. Materials, lighting, graphics, and spatial planning create an atmosphere that evolves throughout the day, from casual daytime gatherings to lively evenings overlooking the Dublin skyline.
What began as a technical challenge evolved into one of DÍON’s defining features. Integrated within the existing glass canopy, the illuminated framework reinforces the brand identity while bringing warmth and character to the space after sunset.
Rather than existing as a standalone identity, the DÍON brand was translated into the architectural language of the space itself. The logo’s geometry informed lighting features, floor patterns, metalwork, and guest-facing touchpoints, creating a layered experience where brand and environment are intrinsically connected.
